Missouri State Highway Patrol was involved in a pursuit Saturday evening and the man is in custody.

Just after 10:00 p.m., Cameron Boersig was driving eastbound on highway US 54.at Cassidy Road when the accident occurred.
Yvonne E. Raczkowski, 46, was westbound when her vehicle slid off the right side of the road, struck an embankment and overturned, the report said.
The Highway Patrol says the chase started in Newton County from a driver with suspicious behavior.
His vehicle continued after striking the guardrail and traveled across the median.
The victim is reportedly an 8-year-old girl, identified by the Missouri Highway Patrol as Alexis Walker for Leavenworth, Kansas.

The investigation into the accident is ongoing. The 9-year-old granddaughter suffered moderate injuries and was transported to Mosaic Life Care for treatment.
