Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump hopes his Democratic rival Hillary Clinton “gets well soon”, a day after her campaign revealed she was suffering from pneumonia.

“We’re going to be releasing more information, and I think it’s fair to say we’ve already met the standard of disclosure of past presidential candidates like Mitt Romney and President Obama”, Clinton said from her home in Chappaqua.
The Wall Street Journal said that Clinton released a summary of her health previous year, with her campaign noting that was enough information.
“Look, when Donald Trump and I said that the small and bullying president of Russian Federation was a stronger leader on the world stage than this president and Secretary Clinton, that was not an endorsement of Vladimir Putin”, Pence said.
“I hope she gets well and gets back on the trail and we’ll be seeing her in the debate”, Trump said.

“Well, if it is (more serious) then it’s a mystery to me and all of her doctors”, Bill Clinton said. “I think what we should be pushing for is erring on the side of transparency, to release medical records”.
Aides acknowledged Monday that the campaign should have handled news of Clinton’s dizzy spell and pneumonia diagnosis differently. “The pneumonia is the extent of it”.
“This is the Hillary Clinton that Americans got to know as secretary of state”, he said.
So far Mr Trump has only released a note, in which his doctor declared that he would be “the healthiest individual ever elected to the presidency”.
According to New York Times Editor Jill Abramson, much of this criticism stems from sexist stereotypes.
“The funniest thing that happened to me on Sunday, was not a amusing day, after all, but this was kind of humorous, is I got to the memorial, I saw my friend and former colleague, Chuck Schumer, and the first thing he says to me is I have had pneumonia and I have been resting for five days”.
“In those 90 minutes, we were putting a priority on making sure she was okay”, he insisted.
Some Trump supporters have suggested Clinton is in poor health as a result of a concussion she suffered in a fall in 2012.
But less than two months from election day, it was a problematic visual for Clinton as she tries to project the vigour needed for one of the world’s most demanding jobs. Clinton spokesperson Brian Fallon has been on MSNBC, CNN saying how Clinton was fine when she entered the van. “She got dehydrated, that’s it”, not mentioning the pneumonia diagnosis that her campaign later revealed.

Clinton was diagnosed with pneumonia on Friday, but the campaign did not make it public until Sunday evening, after she was captured on video stumbling into a black vehicle before going to her daughter’s apartment to rest.
