In this promo you can see that Bonnie has joined up with Stefan in the search, which makes some sense given both her history with the two characters and also her predisposition at this point to dealing with danger. They’ll have to figure out what the creature from the Armory is and what it wants. Season 7 might have fallen off the boat a tiny bit, but that doesn’t mean that the final season won’t be one to watch.but we miss Elena too.
Help might come from unexpected visitors. In addition to some new faces, the popular supernatural series has tapped another familiar character to return for season 8 – Tyler Lockwood. He’ll first appear in episode 3, and EW reports that he’ll be confronting Damon.
Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder will be reuniting in “The Vampire Diaries” Season 8, as series creator Julie Plec revealed that Dobrev promised to return for the series finale.
