Sony reveals PS4 Pro with 4K graphics
Microsoft seems confident its console will be a lot more powerful than Sony’s PlayStation 4 Pro. It’ll be interesting to see if Microsoft can maintain this success over the coming months since the PS4 Slim is out on September 15th and the PS4 Pro arrives in November.

Teased at E3 this past year under the code name “Neo”, the new console will be available on November 10 and is priced at $399.
Sony has revealed two new versions of its hit PlayStation video game console on Wednesday, one geared toward professional gamers and another that’s smaller and more energy efficient.
Xbox, owned by Microsoft, has also released a new gaming console, the Xbox One S, starting at $299. Some older PS4 games like Uncharted 4 will be getting an update making it look much nicer on the Pro.
The machine will also bump up storage to 1TB of space from the original PS4’s default 500GB.
Additionally, Sony will make an upgrade available that will enable all 40 million users of its PlayStation 4 console to upgrade to HDR, House said.
In the financial year through March 2017, Sony expects the gaming unit to account for 45 percent of its overall operating profit.
It’s not totally clear how the release of the Pro is going to pan out.
According to Sony, the PS4 Pro will boost the performance and capability of the system architecture, including the CPU and GPU.
The company is expecting that the new PS4 and PS4 Pro will account for nearly half of their operating profit for the financial year through March 2017. Sony previously announced that it anticipated “all or a very large majority of games will also support the high-end PS4”.

With regard to non-game content, the PS4 Pro will provide 4K/Ultra HD streaming playback from Netflix and YouTube, plus other services to be named later. This is not the same as the PlayStation 4 Pro.
