Olive Garden to serve up its largest ‘Unlimited Pasta Pass’ sale
Beginning September 15 at 2 p.m., up to 21,000 passes will be available for one hour exclusively via the brand’s website.

If you can’t get your hands on a pasta pass on Thursday, don’t worry.
NEW YORK – If you’ve missed out on a chance to gorge on unlimited Olive Garden pasta in the past, this could be your year.
The pasta passes were so popular two years ago – which was the first time they were offered – that Olive Garden’s website crashed right before they went on sale.
Sure, a 100 bucks sounds like a pretty penne, but the Pass is so worth it.
Last year, Olive Garden sold 2,000 Never Ending Pasta Passes to customers for $100 each.
If you’re quick enough to grab a pass, you’ll have access to unlimited pasta, homemade sauces, pasta toppings, soup or salad, breadsticks and Coca-Cola soft drinks from October 3 through November 20.
Olive Garden’s unlimited deal, known as the Never Ending Pasta Pass, doesn’t generate much revenue on its own: At $100 a pop, the passes will ring up about $2.1 million. This year, the most popular Olive Garden entrée, Chicken Alfredo, is being introduced as part of the Never Ending Pasta Bowl lineup.

“Last year, we saw our Pasta Pass holders use their passes an average of 28 times over the seven-week promotion-often bringing along groups of friends”, Jose Duenas, Olive Garden executive vice president of marketing, told Bloomberg. The company promised to donate the proceeds to Feeding America, a nonprofit that operates food banks across the U.S.
