Putin more of a leader than Obama, says Trump

Republican Iowa Congressman Steve King argued that the Russian leader was a far superior leader to the American president, citing the nationalism incited by the Sochi Olympics.

The interview comes a day after Trump repeatedly praised Russian President Vladimir Putin at a military-themed forum. He has annexed Crimea, supported violent separatists in Ukraine, fostered anti-democratic right-wing forces in Europe, and made the weakening of North Atlantic Treaty Organisation a major strategic imperative.

“I want to talk about my own faith – how it led me to a life of service, and how it will guide me as president”, Clinton said.

“He might think he can have an impact at the margins, but I don’t believe that’s possible”, Morell said. “But there can be no answer when she deletes 33,000 emails, bleaches them so they can never be recovered, an unheard of practice, and then hammers her phones into total silence”, Trump said.

“If (Putin) says great things about me, I’m going to say great things about him”, Trump said.

The New York businessman made the comments in an interview with former CNN broadcaster Larry King, whose podcast was aired on Thursday night on RT network, a 24-hour, Russian-language news channel. “A battle that started a board an aircraft carrier catapulted into a dogfight today”, hyped anchor Scott Pelley to start off CBS Evening News Thursday, “We learned more about how they intend to fight America’s enemies and each other”. It fired off a fund-raising email after the forum, pointing out that Lauer “failed to fact-check” when Trump falsely said he opposed the 2003 invasion of Iraq before it happened.

Mr Trump’s interview with King was promoted by RT America as an exclusive. “I think we have to think about what does this stuff mean?”

“Donald Trump is always the first person to say, when we say enormous crowds turn out for rallies. he’s always the first one to say, ‘This is a movement”.

Trump’s stance toward Russian Federation is even starker in the context of recent presidential politics, where the question has not been whether Russian Federation is a foe, but to what degree.

CNN, The Hill and Politico, all considered stalwarts of USA political reporting, emphasized RT’s state funding before covering the substance of Trump’s remarks.

Clinton does not speak frequently about her faith, although she discussed its importance to her in a televised town hall event in February during her battle with United States senator, Bernie Sanders, for the Democratic presidential nomination.

Pence said he’s preparing “in a very traditional way”, despite reports that Trump has eschewed any mock debates or typical debate prep.

“I’ve learned to be grateful not just for my blessings but also for my faults, and there are plenty”, she said, noting the importance of humility among leaders.

“When he calls me brilliant, I’ll take the compliment”, he said at MSNBC/NBC’s Commander-in-Chief forum.

“To just be grossly generalistic, you could put half of Trump’s supporters into what I call the basket of deplorables”. “It’s a national case of Stockholm syndrome, one that makes decent Americans turn their backs on values and traditions that they’ve held dear for their entire lives”.
