Conor McGregor Doesn’t Think CM Punk Is a “WWE P***y”
Plenty of fans of the (real) fight game probably agree, though the former pro wrestler’s WWE fans may be quicker to forgive the former Straightedge Superstar’s debut Round 1 tap-out.

The 37-year old faced 2-0 Mickey Gall on the main card in OH this past Saturday, but it was not a good night for the ex-WWE superstar.
However you feel, people tuned in and Punk got paid. The main difference between the former UFC heavyweight champion and (real name) Phillip Brooks is actual experience in competition.
However, Punk has maintained that he wants to build a career in UFC and will keep on fighting if given the chance. Gall was able to sack the pro wrestling veteran easily, following up with some punches on the ground before the inevitable submission. Also in the the post-fight Octagon interview, Gall went on to call out fellow young and upcoming prospect Sage Northcutt, for a possible fight at UFC 205 in Madison Square Garden.
The 24-year-old, who has a brown belt in Brazilian jujitsu, was hand picked by UFC boss Dana White to fight Punk.
Punk, who left the WWE in early 2014 and signed with the UFC despite a lack of prior experience, has stated he intends to fight again. But I know I’m better than that. “I became friends with him, he’s a nice guy”.
“It’s probably not a good idea for him to take his next fight in the UFC”.
The list includes Brock Lesnar, Dan “The Beast” Severn and Ken Shamrock. “And you see, [like] tonight, even if it’s against a guy who’s [only] 2-0, [UFC] is a tough place to learn”.
Off To The Amateur Leagues?
“My initial venture into this was gonna be at the lowest level”, Punk said at the post-fight press conference. “I 100 percent need to prove myself still, that’s why I’m excited to get going still”.
“I know there’s a lot of doubters, but listen, life is about falling down and getting up”.

“I didn’t get to the summit today, but that doesn’t mean I’m going to give up. I think he’s just a little too old for it”.
