Jeb Bush visits Atlanta

The presidential candidate from the Republican Party unveiled his ideas for a healthcare plan for veterans on Monday as he started a two visit across South Carolina, the place with the largest percentage of retired and active duty military personnel amongst the first four primary states.

Jeb Bush talked about his plan to overhaul the Department of Veterans Affairs and improve health care for veterans during a campaign swing through South Carolina on Monday.

“The closer you get to the voting contests, the more time you spend talking to voters”, said a top Bush advisor who soughtanonymity before agreeing to speak about the campaign’s strategy.

But Republican strategist Patrick Griffin warned that if Bush goes after Trump directly, he’ll only give the real estate mogul more attention, boosting his poll numbers even higher.

Bush stated that revamping the VA and veterans well being care general can be “a prime precedence” if he is elected president. He spent most of his time talking about foreign policy, cyber security, and domestic terrorism.

When a young woman asked for a selfie and his immigration proposal, he screeched to a halt to tell her about his “five point plan” – ticking off each of the five elements on his fingers in depth.

Dennis Albaugh, an Iowa billionaire who has donated to Bush, said the candidate needed to be more aggressive.

“That should be a state issue wherever possible”, Bush said, sampling his own pork chop on a stick while keeping a careful eye on the tenderloins he was flipping. Top George W. Bush money-raisers called “Rangers”, “Pioneers” and “Mavericks” were rewarded with perks like trips to meet with the president. “We need a strong leader with executive experience who knows how to lead in a unsafe world while also maintaining the highest standard of care for our veterans back home”.

He added, “That number should be broadened and limitations to private access reduced”. But the GOP presidential hopeful and former Florida governor also delved into policy specifics on many fronts, producing an event that was less “red meat” politicking than substantive discussion. I’m a conservative reformer with a proven record of results and when people hear that story, I think you’re going to find there’ll be broad support.

“I respect Governor Deal’s position on this”.

“If you had told me a couple months ago that Donald Trump would be leading the field by double digits, I would have rolled my eyes”, said GOP strategist Ford O’Connell.
