The crowd is expected to set a new record for the largest attendance for a home Champions League game in Britain, yet fans of rival club Arsenal can testify to the struggles of a Wembley relocation as they won just two of their six fixtures in Europe when temporarily playing there in the late 1990s. Eight of Kane’s 50 league goals have come via his head, with his left… “Last season was tough for him and we have to make the decision, in or out”, PA report.

However, Redknapp believes losing White Hart Lane’s lively atmosphere on big European nights could cost his former club.

Mousa Dembele is available again after missing the first four games of the league season through suspension.

“I think we have almost sold out all the tickets for it and, with that amount of fans and the atmosphere that can create, then hopefully they will be special nights for us”.

When asked about Son’s possible exit during the summer window, Pochettino said: “Not only Son, different players”.

Son, whose present contract with Spurs runs until 2020, joined the club from Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen in the summer of 2015.

‘I’ll be interested to see if they sell-out Wembley with the group they have, nobody wants to see half-empty stadiums in the Champions League’. “Out of the teams we could have drawn we have to be pleased”, Davies said at a UEFA Champions League gala dinner to launch the ‘Road to Cardiff’.

Welshman Davies has the added incentive with this year’s final in Cardiff.

“But we are not going to underestimate any of the teams we come up against”.

“A lot of us have played there already, so it feels like even more of a home. We have to make sure we’re ready for that”.
