The Democratic presidential hopeful said she became dizzy and stumbled on her way out of the ceremony in NY on Sunday, but said she not lose consciousness.

If nothing else, the video of Clinton almost collapsing, which likely will be viewed countless times over the next two months, will give more ammunition to critics who question her overall health. “And obviously that didn’t work out so well”.

Her spokesperson initially said she had become overheated and dehydrated but later confirmed the pneumonia diagnosis. The diagnosis was not made public until Sunday.

As she came out of the apartment shortly before noon, Clinton said, “I’m feeling great”.

Trump had previously raised the issue of Clinton’s recurring cough and last month called on her to release her medical records. He has accused Clinton of not having the energy and stamina it takes to be president. Her husband, former president Bill Clinton, is instead headlining some of her events. However, they have not provided any evidence to support the claim.

“I’m surprised the candidates don’t get sicker than they do”, Pikes Peak Dems Executive Director Liz Hershberger said.

In December 2012, Mrs Clinton suffered a concussion and shortly after had a blood clot.
