“It’s unfortunate this had to happen to someone that is just so sweet and nice and didn’t deserve it, like anybody else”, said Torres.

Brodman’s friends have been posting on social media since Sunday, saying that he passed away while attending a birthday party.

According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called out to a home in the 12200 block of Garden Lake Circle around 1:17 a.m.in reference to a person down. The man, whose body showed no signs of violence, was pronounced dead.

Authorities have not released any information about the man who died, pending notification of their family.

He said he heard of Mr. Brodman’s death after Mr. Brodman’s boyfriend posted about it on Facebook.

“I still can’t believe my baby is gone, ” Skyla wrote on Facebook. “But when you go out with them, you never think, ‘is this the last time I’m going to have a sip with them, or is this the last time I’m going to dance with them?”

Brodman was among the hundreds of people inside the Pulse night club in June when a gunman walked in and began shooting. “I just started running as more gunfire went off 5-6 shot intervals equally timed”. Mr. Brodman was in the process of getting a Pulse tribute tattoo during his interview.

“The boy who I was, that loved to relieve stresses by drinking with friends and listening to loud music and dancing wildly and insane on the dance floor”, he said.
