ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel joked on his late night show that it would be more hard to believe “conspiracy theories” about Hillary Clinton’s health “if they didn’t actually come true”. She later posted a photo with her and singer John Legend on the set of the show “Lip Sync Battle”, where she and a Bill Clinton impersonator were set to perform.
Barnwell was an advertising executive before this whole look-alike business took off. Barnwell bears such a striking resemblance to Hillary Clinton that she quit her job to become a full-time Hillary Clinton look alike. “My phone was just dinging, dinging, dinging, dinging”, she said, according to The Daily Beast. However, the most weird of those theories sprouted up after it: The theory that Clinton used a body double.
“What happened this time, though, was it didn’t dissipate, and that’s why when I got off the road on Friday, I did go to see my doctor, and that’s when I was diagnosed with pneumonia”, Clinton told Cooper. On Monday, #hillarysbodydouble was trending on the social network and it’s the latest rumor in an election cycle that has given a platform to several absurd conspiracy theories.
Prominent conspiracy theorist Paul Joseph Watson tweeted, “The #HillarysBodyDouble narrative was probably started by the Clinton campaign to discredit genuine questions about her health”. She doesn’t get as much attention as the Trump impersonators do, she adds: “That’s where the joke is”. “I wish I had her stamina”. Even celebrities are eager to meet her!
Barnwell says her politics are “middle of the road” and plans on voting for Clinton.

However, Clinton’s campaign has desperately attempted to stem any concerns around her health. She had to turn to a millennial-her 20-something goddaughter-to learn what a meme is, let alone about “Damn Daniel” and the other references in the clip. Barnwell says she has to act responsibly and she refuses any gig that damages Clinton’s reputation or image. “It’s just a freaky thing”, she says.
