After a non-stop rollout of iOS 10 betas, Apple is done playing games and will finally release an official version of iOS 10 to the public sometime tomorrow. Apple rolls out the update gradually beginning on the morning of Tuesday, September 13. At the bottom, you should see a Download and install button, just tap on it and follow the on-screen instructions, and you will be running iOS 10 in no time. Whether you use iCloud or iTunes, have the most recent backup ready in case you have to restore your device. First, the update – if history is any indication – will likely go live sometime around noon Eastern Time, give or take two hours. You battery must be at least 60 percent charged or connected to a charger at the time of update. As usual, once the iOS update is available for your device your phone will inform you about this with a pop-up notification on your display.

An iOS update could require between 1GB and 2GB of free space on your phone.

Additionally, we need to make sure that you own an eligible iOS device. You can also get lyrics.

To download the update, go to the Settings app and click on General. Other new features arriving with the update include a new caller ID extension for spam alerts, split-view support for iPads, Siri-enabled contextual predictions while using QuickType and a new technology called Differential Privacy that Apple said will help “improve QuickType and emoji suggestions, Spotlight deep link suggestions and Lookup Hints in Notes”.
