Conor McGregor & Nate Diaz Could Be Fined, Suspended For UFC 202 Brawl
More specifically, the infamous press conference where Nate Diaz walked out and all hell broke loose with water bottles and cans of energy drink being thrown by McGregor and the Diaz entourage.

The incident, which took place on 17 August, three days before the fight, saw Diaz leave the pre-fight press conference early because McGregor reached the venue late.
According to ESPN, the Nevada Attorney General’s Office has now filed complaints against both fighters, claiming that they were, “guilty of conduct that is detrimental to a contest or exhibition of unarmed combat”.
Commission executive director Bob Bennett would later reveal the severity of the situation during an interview with MMAFighting.
You’ll nearly certainly remember how the August 17 presser closed with a barrage of bottles and cans being hurled between McGregor and Diaz after the latter chose to cut his appearance short. Tempers began to flare as both men continued their verbal assault on one another before a water bottle was tossed in the direction of McGregor’s team.
The fight was also a very lucrative one for both McGregor, who took home a record-setting $3 million disclosed purse, and Diaz, who took home $2 million, so as Okamoto noted, any fine in the neighborhood of 10% for the pre-fight brawl, which was handed to Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier in 2014, would turn out to be some very substantial amounts. Afterward, a number of MMA fighters reacted on Twitter to Punk taking his first (and probably last) L. Noticeably absent from the list was Conor McGregor, though a TMZ cameraman still found him and asked him his thoughts about Saturday night’s beatdown.
There’s no word on when the hearing for Diaz and McGregor will take place, but the commission typically holds meetings every month to deal with complaints such as these after they have been filed by the attorney general.
