Illness hit Clinton campaign staff before candidate got pneumonia
Speaking in Maryland Monday, Trump said he was shocked to hear Clinton “attack, slander, smear and demean these wonderful, awesome people who are supporting our campaign”. Now the former Secretary of State’s health has turned into a real campaign issue after almost fainting during the 9/11 Memorial ceremony Sunday. Clinton quickly altered her campaign schedule and canceled a planned trip to California.

The former president concluded they would be “lucky” to keep his wife off the trail for one more day. “In fact, she hasn’t backed down at all”, Trump said.
In recent weeks, staff at Clinton’s headquarters in Brooklyn have been hit by an illness, and several aides required medical treatment, a campaign aide said. “I’m still actually recovering from the cough that I got through that”. In an advanced copy of the speech released by the Trump campaign, the word “them” replaces the phrase “half of our supporters”-the latter of which is what Clinton actually said during a fundraiser on Friday”.
The questions about her health were compounded by the almost eight hours of silence from Clinton and her team about the health scare, as well as the Sunday evening disclosure she had been diagnosed on Friday with pneumonia.
“I believe, first of all, we’ve been as transparent as we can be”, Clinton told Rose on Monday.
Campaign press secretary Brian Fallon acknowledged that mistakes were made and said the campaign could have handled the situation better.
“And we’ve been more transparent than any other foundation, more transparent than any other foundation has ever been asked to be, and certainly more transparent than anybody else in this line of work is”. Now that Hillary Clinton is running for president, Woolsey will be an adviser for Trump on national security.
‘Something’s going on, but I just hope she gets well and gets back on the trail, and we’ll be seeing her at the debate, ‘ he said.
A teaser says the interview with Mr Trump “addresses why the health of the candidates has become such a serious issue in this campaign” and “reveals his own personal health regimen”.
Reuters noted that the 70-year-old real estate mogul has released less information regarding his health to the public than Clinton has.
Jennifer Palmieri, Clinton’s communications director, also said the campaign “could have done better” with its handling of the health episode in response to a Twitter message from Obama strategist David Axelrod, in which he hit Clinton for “an unhealthy penchant for privacy”.
At the apartment, she played with her grandchildren, even chasing them around the room, Fallon said.
“I would expect most patients to start feeling fine in a week or two”, Kopas said.
