Mike Pence: ‘Inarguable That Putin Is Stronger Leader Than Obama’

American presidential candidates are not prone to condemn their country before a foreign audience, even if they are fierce critics of the current administration while campaigning in the United States.

“He’s been a leader far more that our president has been a leader”, Trump said of the Russian president. “A future where America can find common ground with countries like Russian Federation and China is a better future for our children”, Trump said.

The Democratic nominee for president was speaking at a fundraiser in NY on Friday night when she said, “to just be grossly generalistic, you could put half of Trump’s supporters into what I call the basket of deplorables”.

She said half of those backing Donald Trump in the November 8 vote belonged in a “basket of deplorables”, of people who were racist, homophobic, sexist, xenophobic or Islamophobic.

“Once we get through that transition period, we’ll see what the right answer is for the foundation and for me”, she added. ‘And it’s a war that, when we got out, we got out the wrong way.

Trump, speaking on Friday at the conservative Value Voters summit in Washington, painted Clinton as a “massive failure” while she was America’s top diplomat from 2009 to early 2013, blaming her for the current turmoil in the Middle East.

Trump held his rally Friday in an arena with a listed capacity of 10,000 people.

In his hour-long speech, Trump said Russian Federation was a natural ally in the fight against ISIS and criticized the Obama administration for not doing more to stem the chaos in Syria. “Then, she gave up 20 per cent of USA uranium to Russian Federation -while those who benefited from the deal gave money to the Clintons”, he said.

Clinton was scheduled on Friday to meet with former senior national security officials in NY.

Speaker of the House Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) said on Wednesday at a press conference that: “Vladimir Putin is an aggressor that does not share interests”.

Both Trump, a native New Yorker, and Clinton, who was senator from NY at the time of the attacks, have agreed to refrain from campaigning Sunday, continuing the tradition of setting aside partisan politics on the somber anniversary.

The remarks in front of the LGBT crowd echoed Mrs. Clinton’s previous dismissals of the people who support the Republican nominee, but this time she put a number on it.
