The iPad Pro 2 was one of the products snubbed at Apple’s recent launch event, but it does not come as a surprise as the latest iteration of the giant phablet is not expected to be released this year.

Looks like a few things have been changed on the company’s website with regard to the terms of the iPads.

The iPad Air and iPad Mini 4 are not sold anymore with an internal storage of 16GB, which means that if you still want to purchase any of these two devices, you will have to purchase the 32GB internal storage variants.

Reputable analyst Ming Chi-Kuo has already said that the new iPad Pro will be launched in 2017 along with a smaller version which has a 10.5-inch display. Obviously, that did not happen and now fans are starting to wonder when the company will release the new iPad Pro 2. However, its price has been reduced. The 128GB versions of both the 9.7-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro will see a price cut of $50, while the 256GB models shave $100 off the original price.

Tech enthusiasts are now waiting for the release of iPad Mini 5 for its promising new features and aesthetics.

In addition, it is also widely reported that the device will have a 7000-series aluminum chassis, the same material from iPhone 6S and 6S Plus, which should make the mini tablet durable and thinner than its predecessors.

Apple’s Senior Vice President of Worldwide Product, Phil Schiller, talks in front of a crowd during the presentation of the iPad Air 2 in Cupertino back in 2014.

The other features of the iPad Pro 2 include the A10X 10nm processor, which is faster than the A9x chip now installed in the iPad Pro.

It was highly anticipated that the release date of the iPad Mini 5 would be announced. This is because Apple recently revealed that it will no longer have the 3.5 mm headphone jack for the iPhone 7.

Other similar reports also explained that the upcoming iPad Pro 2 will have a more functional Apple Pen along with more apps that encourage the user to maximize the use of the stylus.
