Arsenal fully focused and ready for PSG says Mustafi

Giroud seems likely to spearhead the attack in Paris but Wenger, who has presided over all of Arsenal’s Champions League campaigns, was guarded about his lineup.

The Gunners boss will be in the away dugout at the Parc des Princes for tomorrow night’s Champions League Group A opener having rejected opportunities to take charge of the Parisian giants in 2011, 2013 and 2014.

Emery’s team were beaten 3-1 at Monaco just prior to the global break in Ligue, and in addition to ending an 11 match unbeaten run, that defeat marked the first time in 16 months that PSG did not have at least a share of the Ligue 1 lead.

“Better than all my speeches is the way we play and the dynamic we can put into the games”.

Unai Emery admits he is still learning as a manager and the Paris St Germain coach has revealed that Arsene Wenger is the main man he looks up to. “Everyone would like to be in his situation”.

“He will be a little bit of a concern”, confirmed Arsene Wenger, the Arsenal manager.

“We are used to playing with the intensity you need in the Champions League”. ‘”Also, PSG is a good test for us because in France, they’re the team that’s always above everybody else”. Arsenal have boasted many talented players who have failed to adapt to the physicality of football, and as fans and analysts, we are often far too quick to criticise them. “It’s a city I love, it’s my country, it’s a country I love”, said Wenger.

Arsenal will play against PSG during their Champions League soccer match group A on Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2016.

“I have not decided yet [on Giroud], the players don’t know the team”.

“He’s all right”, said Wenger. Like Koscielny, the Welshman trained with the Arsenal first-team in London on Monday morning and could also be edging closer to a comeback.

“Laurent has taken on a new status with us – I think he’s one of the best [defenders] in the world”, said Wenger. The French champions didn’t have a real good kickstart to their domestic season as they remain now on fourth place in the Ligue 1 standings, with just seven points from first four games.
