Obama hits campaign trail for ailing Clinton
Her Monday events were canceled entirely, while her husband, former President Bill Clinton, filled in for her Tuesday and will do the same in Nevada on Wednesday.

But she’s likely to reiterate her criticism of North Carolina’s controversial House Bill 2, which nullified Charlotte’s legal protections for gay, lesbian and transgender individuals – particularly after the NCAA’s decision Monday to pull seven championship games from the state. Her campaign argues that Trump will struggle to connect with such voters if he’s viewed as fostering white supremacists.
Because Clinton will begin election day with a solid hold on many high-value states, Trump must win numerous swing states without giving Clinton a win in places like OH and Florida.
Clinton has tied herself closely to Obama, whom she served as secretary of state, and gives him credit in almost every speech for pulling the country out of the “ditch” of the Great Recession at the start of his tenure. “I’m a very clean person, I like cleanliness, and I think you’re better off going there than maybe someplace that you have no idea where the food is coming from”, he explained on CNN in February.
But the incident follows a long pattern, with Clinton paying a price, both physically and politically. In follow-up evaluations, Clinton was found to have a blood clot in a vein in the space between her brain and the skull behind her right ear. After her near collapse, however, he said only that he hoped she would recover. Her physician, Dr. Lisa Bardack, said in 2013 that testing showed “complete resolution” of the concussion’s effects. More have health insurance.
A video of the Sunday incident showed a seemingly fainting Clinton stumbling on the sidewalk while her security detail nearly dragged her into a van and drove her to her daughter’s house.
Her campaign staff first said she “overheated”, later announcing that she was diagnosed with a pneumonia on Friday. “I’ve always seen her get up earlier and stay up later”.
Mr Obama painted a stark picture of the stakes in the face-off between Mrs Clinton and Republican rival Donald Trump, and tried to persuade Democrats that he is fully behind his former secretary of state’s bid for the White House. While Democrats said the matter is unlikely to fundamentally alter the presidential race, Democrats worry the race with Trump is too close for comfort. Her staff had planned to bring their children in to meet Elmo and Clinton didn’t want to disappoint the kids.
“I felt so badly”.

“You know, it is something that has occurred a few times over the course of my life, and I’m aware of it, and usually can avoid it”, she added. And then go ahead and get the job done. She cut short her appearance Sunday at the September 11 commemorative ceremony in NY, complaining of feeling overheatedand was helped to her van where she appeared to collapse.
