Eager to discuss anything other than Mrs Clinton’s health, her allies are trying to make the case that supporting Mr Trump means linking arms with the likes of Mr Duke.
Describing the likely cause of what happened, Clinton told interviewer Charlie Rose, taking care with each word he chose: ‘Frequently, not frequently … rarely but on more than one occasion over the last many many years – same sort of thing’s happened to her when she’s gotten severely dehydrated, ‘ Clinton said.
At a rally on Monday, he said he was “shocked and alarmed” to hear Mrs Clinton “attack, slander, smear, demean these wonderful, awesome people”.
“If you’re chumming around with the head of the Ku Klux Klan or people that have that type, that’s deplorable”, he said, referring to David Duke, a white supremacist and vocal Trump supporter.
On Sunday, she fell ill at Ground Zero and was forced to leave the 9/11 memorial ceremony in NY early. The campaign later revealed that she had been diagnosed with the illness on Friday. She was even better last night before she went to sleep.
Clinton’s physician, Dr Lisa Bardack, released a statement via the campaign and said she had pneumonia.
Clinton has been sidelined with pneumonia since abruptly leaving a 9/11 memorial event Sunday.
“You know, it is something that has occurred a few times over the course of my life, and I’m aware of it, and usually can avoid it”, she added.
“She treats everyone with respect”, Obama said. Clinton will be back on the campaign trail Thursday, after spending several days at home recovering from pneumonia.
In July of 2015, Clinton’s doctor released a two-page statement on Clinton’s health, describing her as a “healthy 67 year old female whose current medical conditions include hypothyroidism and seasonal pollen allergies”.
‘I think her lifestyle and her underlying indicators … means it’s nearly certain she’s in better health than her opponent, but we don’t know because he hasn’t disclosed, ‘ he said.

The conflicting reports brought a storm of attacks on the campaign from Republicans and Democrats alike, who demanded more clarity on Clinton’s health status.
