It’s a somber start to homecoming week at a suburban Denver high school after a bus crash at Denver International Airport killed the driver and injured 15 students.

The bus is reported to be from Legacy High School, which is in Broomfield, Colorado, and is part of Adams 12 Five Star Schools.

The impact of the crash crushed the front of the school bus where the driver – a woman whose name and age has not been released – was sitting.

The school district said the students involved are being monitored and evaluated by Legacy High School’s athletic trainer.
