BioShock: The Collection PC Specs Revealed

As per the Windows Live owners, they will need to send a copy of the receipt or can be an email confirmation that can serve as a proof that they bought the “BioShock” game. Players who have the rig can play the games at 1080p and at 60fps. The process of changing a Games For Windows Live version to a Steam one have been in place for quite some time. Here are the minimum system requirement specs of BioShock Remastered.

If you already own the original BioShock, BioShock 2 and the Minerva’s Den DLC on Steam, you will be getting the remastered versions for free on September 15 (BioShock: Infinite is not being remastered for the PC because it already supports 1080p resolutions).

BioShock: The Collection arrives on September 13 and will cost $60.

BioShock: The Collection launches later this week, and ahead of release, 2K Games has detailed the type of rig you’ll need to have in order to run the remastered games. It also includes the excellent Minerva’s Den expansion released for BioShock 2.

Meanwhile 2K stressed that “BioShock” not on Steam are running for nine years already. It features BioShock 1, 2 and also Infinite plus all single-player DLC. The Steam version for PC will be released on September 15 at exactly 6pm ET. 2K support has instructions on how to redeem that here.

In terms of OS, Windows 7 and above is recommended.

Other Requirements: Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 & 2012 Redistributable Package. That’s more than two days later than PS4 and Xbox One, and it’s beyond the original release date announced for the set. It comes out on September 15 in Australia and September 16 internationally.

2K Games already mentioned that “BioShock: Infinite” will not be included in the collection for the PC because the game already meets HD levels for the platform.
