Alshon Jeffery leads Bears receivers

“It’s insane, you know?” said Fiedorowicz, 23, who said his brother Kyle, 28, and about 17 former high school teammates attended the game at NRG Stadium.

The Texans took the opening kickoff and Osweiler started driving the offense down the field.

Bears linebacker Jerrell Freeman crushed Tyler Ervin as the Texans running back tried to haul in a pass on third-and-goal, assuring the ball fell incomplete and forcing Houston to settle for a field goal. They were on the board, but still trailing the Bears 7-3.

4th quarter, 9:44 to goCHICAGO 3rd and 6, CHI 45 yard linePLAY: Whitney Mercilus strip-sacks Jay Cutler With the game still within one score at 20-14 and the Bears moving the football from their own 17 yard line out to the 45 yard line fairly easily, Chicago was facing a 3rd and 6.

Tennessee next travels to take on the Lions (1-0), who defeated the Colts, 39-35, in Week 1 action. On the next ensuing drive the Bears went 3 and out. It looks like it might pay off, as he averaged almost 25 yards on kick returns and almost 10 on punt returns. Despite undergoing surgery to fix a herniated disc in his back on July 20, Watt was in the starting lineup for the Texans’ 23-14 victory over the Bears on Sunday at NRG Stadium.

Cutler and Alshon Jeffery have mastered the deep back-shoulder throw and his touchdown to Eddie Royal was a pass less than a handful of QBs in the league can throw.

The Bears actually looked capable of pulling off an upset at Houston before being thoroughly outclassed in the second half of a 23-14 defeat.

The second half started with the Chicago taking the kick-off.

Safety Andre Hal rebounded from a couple earlier miscues to record an interception for the Texans. He finished with five tackles, including two for losses and had a career-high three hits on Cutler.

The balance of the third quarter had both defensive units stepping up their game, as the teams went back and forth with short drives before punting. The Bears had a 14-10 lead at halftime after a late drive right before the half. The rest of the third quarter was a series of back-and-forth possessions with neither team finding a rhythm or the scoreboard, but Houston turned things on in the final quarter.

On the first play of the fourth quarter, Osweiler found Fuller again, and this time the receiver used his speed to run through the defense into the end zone. The Lions were in trouble when Doyle caught his second touchdown of the day and Vinatieri nailed the PAT, giving the Colts their first lead. Unfortunately, the Bears offense is so poor that it will likely be playing from behind most of the time, limiting Langford’s opportunities for fantasy points. The new additions performed admirably, and numerous old guard stepped up like they always have.

“I recognized it”, Osweiler said. Look, it’s the NFL.

Even with Watt being somewhat limited, the defense was stout. He did a good a good of sticking with the run.

“I’m glad you couldn’t read my lips”, he said. Chicago (0-1) was also 0-of-2 on fourth down conversions.

“We need him”, Cutler said. He almost had another pick earlier in the game, but just missed it.Brian Cushing left with an injury, but the defense still performed very well. O’Brien was asked if he could talk about how much of a blow it was to lose ILB Brian Cushing for a bit. On top of blunder on the interception, he also was guilty of a false start and a drop on a play where Cutler held tough in the pocket and delivered a catchable ball that would have been a first down.

“Hindsight, I wish I would have challenged it”, Fox said. We’ll find out tomorrow. Max (Bullough) is a very bright player, B-Mac (Benardrick McKinney).

There is no real reason for concern from fantasy players relying on Hopkins because he still saw eight targets, which was more than every Houston receiver not named Fuller.

“Sometimes the communication isn’t there – whatever it was on that play that didn’t happen”. Houston stays home this upcoming weekend and will host the Kansas City Chiefs. But the Texans were the ones doing it, and they’re supposed to be a playoff team. HOPEFULLY, 2016 will end with a different result!
