Obama endorsed Clinton ahead of the Democratic National Convention, also held in Philadelphia.
The former secretary of state on Sunday morning abruptly left a 9/11 memorial in NY and her campaign initially told reporters that Clinton had been “overheated”.
“It’s just the kind of thing, if it happens to you, and you’re a busy, active person, you keep moving forward”, Clinton said.
While he was here, Obama also attended a $33,000-a-head fundraiser for democratic candidates in states across the country.
“You can not run for president if you have such contempt in your heart for the American voters – and she does”, he said.
Mr. Clinton appeared in an interview Monday with CBS News’ Charlie Rose after his wife almost collapsed while trying to leave a 9/11 memorial ceremony on Sunday.
Some daily tracking polls are beginning to show Trump overtaking Clinton.
Fowler, who said he believes Clinton will get better, warned that strong support for current vice-president Joe Biden and losing presidential nominee Bernie Sanders could split the party.
“Guys in the back, I’m just telling you the truth about how I feel about this”, Obama said, giving the media a heads up before he excoriated them. “It’s important that the candidate has a clean bill of health”. Both are promising to release additional medical information this week in a bid to convince voters that they’re up for the grueling (and graying) job of being the president of the United States of America.
“I think her lifestyle and her underlying indicators-blood pressure, the amount of exercise, the everything else-means it’s nearly certain she’s in better health than her opponent. I’m not going to vote for her, but I don’t fault her”.
“It is good to be back on the campaign trail, ” Obama said as he began.
The Trump campaign has promised to release more medical records.

Clinton’s Republican rival, Donald Trump, had been trying to make an issue of Clinton’s health before Sunday’s incident, saying she didn’t have the stamina to be president. “And it’s just so unusual, with all of that information out there, and as soon as it became clear I couldn’t power through, we said what was going on”.
