Surface Pro 4 hype has been intensifying, with Microsoft expected to take the wraps off its new tablet powerhouse on October 4. Hence, it will come with USB 3.0 or 3.1 ports.

However, as Inquisitr noted, the Surface Pro 4 has the edge over Apple’s products this time around as it has already been seen as the leader in laptop-tablet hybrids. It adds that for the Surface Pro 4, 256 GB SSD will be supplied by Samsung, the camera setup will be provided by Largan Precision and Newmax, and the full metal chassis will be built by Ju Teng worldwide. However, even if the Skylake aspect of the Surface Pro 4 rumor turns out to be false, that doesn’t negate the possibility of the other information about 4K display and an October release being correct.
In fact, Surface Pro 4 is so marvelous, that The Verge editor Tom Warren suggested skipping the SP3 altogether. In response to a tweet regarding the possibility of a USB C port for file transfers, Warren replied that it’s “not likely”.
Warren claims that the Surface Pro 4 will be coming with a larger display. Under the hood, an Intel Atom x3 64-bit processor will be running the show, and will be accompanied by up to 4GB of RAM. The new unit is rumored to be using the more powerful new generation of Intel chips which would either be a Broadwell or the Skylake processors.
So what would make the Surface Mobile different from a Microsoft Lumia phone?

The phone’s said to have a metal case and it’ll ship with Windows 10 Mobile software in late 2015 or early 2016… you know, if it’s real. We have to admit we’re a bit skeptical as this sounds more like a wishlist rather than actual specs so do take it with a grain of salt for now.
