I’m guessing Doug binged Stranger Things like the rest of us and wanted an outlet for his overwhelming passion.

There’s a lot to learn about the young actors, from the strangest foods they like, to the strangest thing in their closets, to their strangest talents. Stranger Things, which premiered on July 15, waxes nostalgic to the cornerstones of ’80s pop culture, including E.T. the Extra Terrestrial, The Goonies, and The X-Files.
The show’s straightforward storytelling and pulsing synth soundtrack borrow heavily from classic sci-fi and horror films such as Poltergeist and Close Encounters of the Third Kind.
In the first season, Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) had eliminated the monster that resided in the Upside Down world, after which she disappeared.
In “Stranger Things” Season 1, things had been hard for friends Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo), Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin) and Mike (Finn Wolfhard). But that didn’t stop the Internet from crowning Barb (played by Shannon Purser) as the best character on the show. While Stranger Things became all about rescuing Will Byers (played by Noah Schnapp), Barb got completely forgotten, except for, well, some parts with Nancy trying to convince people not to forget about her. These two actors were phenomenal leads and had me engaged in every scene they were in. They have wonderful and nice things to say about the show, so I have fun talking to [the fans].
With Netflix recently announcing a second season, I recommend catching up on Stranger Things before a friend spoils it for you.
We’ll have to wait until 2017 to find out. And it’s obviously the best thing we’ve seen all week.
As you can tell from the teaser, the episodes in Season 2 will be titled, ‘Madmax,’ ‘The Boy Who Came Back to Life,’ ‘The Pumpkin Patch,’ ‘The Palace,’ ‘The Storm,’ ‘The Pollywog,’ ‘The Secret Cabin,’ ‘The Brain,’ and ‘The Lost Brother’.

David Harbour who portrays chief Hopper revealed that the Eggo waffles he left in a box at the end of season one were definitely for Eleven.
