Chief Executive Officer Bob Iger of Disney announced that they are planning to build two Star Wars themed parks at the D23 Expo in Anaheim on Saturday.

The Star Wars lands will have two signature attractions. A start date for Disney World has not been set.

Each of the new areas will be 14 acres large, which Iger added was the single largest expansion in the company’s history.

Star Wars” theme parks are coming to each of Disney’s coastal properties, the corporate introduced, giving followers the prospect to pilot the Millennium Falcon for themselves. The target structure will be place at Disneyland in Anaheim, California and at Disney’s Hollywood Studios at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida.

Disney announced several other park upgrades at its annual D23 Expo, a fan convention. Where else but in the Mouse House could news of theme-park expansions rival even the highly anticipated reveals about on-screen content?

Lastly, the Battle of Jakku DLC for SW:B was given a preview with concept art, and has been scheduled for a release on December 8th (whilst anyone with pre-orders of the game get access a week early).

With the premiere of Star Wars: The Force Awakens almost four months away, chances are that the best is yet to come when it comes to what J.J. Abrams and the cast & crew have in store for Star Wars fans.

Guests will be transported to a never-before-seen planet at the new Star Wars attraction.
