Police say the discovery was made at the intersection of Blake Avenue and Drew Street just before 12 a.m.

EMS responded and pronounced her dead.

According to an NYPD spokesperson, the woman’s 57-year-old husband turned himself in to officers at the 78th Police Precinct in Park early Wednesday morning shortly after the woman’s body was found. Sources told the Post that the man is believed to have been inside the auto with the woman shortly before she was killed.

Detectives and crime scene investigators swarmed the intersection early Wednesday morning. Both the husband and the woman were both believed to have been in the vehicle at the time for the attack.

Her husband surrendered himself shortly after police discovered she was dead, the NYPD said. He was taken to the hospital with a laceration to his hand but was released to authorities.

The victim has not been identified pending family notification.
