According to NFL.com, the San Diego Chargers were supposed to have one of the more high powered offenses in professional football.

Rookie Joey Bosa was activated, with no real target date for when he’ll make his National Football League debut.
Ultimately, the Chiefs’ 33-27 overtime win over the San Diego Chargers was a microcosm of last season, when they started off 1-5 before rattling off 11 straight wins into the playoffs. After seeing Keenan Allen go down so early in the season, the Chargers better hope that they’re not rushing out Bosa too soon. This year, it appears Keenan Allen is that player after he went down with what is reported to be a torn right ACL.
VIKINGS 25, TITANS 16: Eric Kendricks returned an interception 77 yards for a touchdown late in the third quarter and Danielle Hunter scored a 24-yard TD off a fumble return and Minnesota beat Tennessee in Nashville, Tennessee.
The Kansas City Chiefs want to show everyone they are real contenders for the Super Bowl this year.
GORDON WAS GOOD: Melvin Gordon ran for the first two touchdowns of his career Sunday. Down by 18 points in the first half and 21 in the second half, Smith and his teammates mounted the biggest comeback in franchise history with 23 unanswered points.
Eli Manning threw for three touchdowns, including the go-ahead score to Victor Cruz in his first game in almost two years, and the New York Giants beat the Dallas Cowboys 20-19 Sunday.
Arizona’s Chandler Catanzaro missed a 47-yard field goal with 41 seconds to play. Chiefs are expected to miss RB Jamaal Charles this week, but the team’s depth at several offensive positions including running back will be evident in this division matchup. The Chiefs drove 56 yards in two minutes to score a touchdown that made it 27-17. They won the overtime coin toss and drove 70 yards on 10 plays before Smith ran right, dropped his head and blasted into the end zone. “Instincts took over. I was fortunate enough to be on the receiving end”.
At his Monday postmortem, Mike McCoy kept making references to “a lack of execution” as the culprit in the second half.
“Everybody with eyes who saw the game has got to know, we have to close it”, Chargers offensive tackle Joe Barksdale said. “It was not a lack of focus at all”.
With just more than 21 minutes to play in regulation, the Chargers led by 21 points.
Bosa has been on the roster-exempt list.
“I’ll you the energy he brought was a good thing”, Reid said “He just kept bringing it and bringing it”. He continued to say the they knew that they were not playing to the level they were capable of.

Ware gave credit to the chemistry he’s established with Smith, who in turn had no problem targeting his running back deep down the middle of the field when things broke down around him. We’ve also got to also be smart with it so we’ve got him for the long haul. We saw numerous same maladies that plagued the Chargers last season: Timid play calling, poor clock management, mental mistakes and shoddy special teams play. It shocked us that Coleman was owned in only 42 percent of Yahoo leagues leading up to Week 1, but you can bet after he split time nearly equally with Devonta Freeman and noticeably outperformed him, Coleman will be in demand.
