Arsenal may unleash striker Giroud against PSG
Giroud seems likely to spearhead the attack in Paris but Wenger, who has presided over all of Arsenal’s Champions League campaigns, was guarded about his lineup.

The French giants have tried on a number of occasions to recruit Wenger to guide their processions to the Ligue 1 title and supplementary tilts at the Champions League, but he has rejected them each time.
For Arsene Wegner’s side, Tuesday night will be the ideal chance to try and get a positive result against a fluttering PSG side, but Emery will be well aware of the threat and have his men ready to get out on the front foot. Speaking to the press later that evening, Wenger said: “He [Koscielny] is alright, he had a big knock on his face but recovered quite well”.
“Why did not I say yes (to PSG)? I know PSG’s owners well but I feel always I remained loyal to Arsenal because it is a club that has the qualities I love”. The Premier League is extremely different to many European leagues – perhaps other than the Bundesliga a league that Perez has also never played in – and patience is needed with the striker’s development.
Arsenal and the PSG must be regarded as favourites to qualify again from a group also including Basel and Bulgarian side Ludogorets. [Shkodran] Mustafi has only played one half since the start of the season with Valencia, so they are missing games.
‘I was a bit disappointed not to get a call at the end of my career, ‘ New York City boss Vieira told L’Equipe. We have 24 more hours. “I was was concerned after the game [against Southampton] he wouldn’t be available, but he’s alright”.
Having signed the likes of Granit Xhaka and Shkodran Mustafi during the summer transfer window, Wenger is adamant that his squad boasts the attributes necessary to progress further in the competition. They have begun the French league season by losing against Monaco and drawing with St-Etienne. “Now I have a team with more experienced players”.

“I have to decide that [if they will feature on Tuesday]”. The final place will go to either Theo Walcott or Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain but I think the former just has the edge at the minute.
