Real Madrid will accept £50m Arsenal bid for Karim Benzema
Therefore, it is for the best that the Cameranoonian did not sign for the Gunners.

Arsenal have not given up hope of sealing a £45-million deal for Karim Benzema this summer although they concede it will be tough to prise the striker away from Real Madrid, according to Goal.
While the deal remains merely speculation, former teammates Thierry Henry and Kaka have both urged Arsenal to sign the 27-year-old in recent weeks, despite manager Arsene Wenger labelling the reports as “media talk”.
Arsenal’s plan has always been to wait until the end of the transfer window in the belief that Real Madrid would change its stance.
Arsenal would have to test that resolve with a bid in excess of £45million but, as yet, they have received no indication Benzema has had a change of heart over his immediate future.
Yet the constant message from the Spanish capital has been insistent that Benzema, who is under contract until 2019, will stay at the Santiago Bernabeu for at least another season.

Benzema and and his very expensive soccer ball could be making a hop, skip and a jump to the English Premiere League. The latest rumours from the Express are saying that the Gunners are now plotting to raid Paris Saint-Germain for the attacking pair of Edinson Cavani AND Ezequiel Lavezzi.
