Here’s how to fix the most annoying change in iOS 10

According to countless angry social media users, iPhones and iPads ran into some installation problems when updating, with an error message popping up asking users to plug their device into a computer for a complete restore.

On the more fun side, iMessages now has support for GIFs, animations, stickers, personalised handwritten notes and automatic emoji suggestions.

Having been first revealed at the tech giant’s developer conference in June, iOS 10 also sees more artificial intelligence implanted into the software, with the Photos app now better able to identify and show you photos in your library based on time, location, people and even the items in them.

With iOS 10, it is evident to see that Apple has taken design ideas from Android.

Another change in the WhatsApp app include being able to answer voice calls right from your locked screen. However, I’m not too sure why you’d want to use this feature as traditional notifications present you with a lot more information.

WhatsApp is rolling out an update for its iOS app. In order to use the new feature, users first have to give WhatsApp access to Siri. The Notifications on Lock Screen are now more interactive which displays the entire text, photos, etc and users can get all information from this screen itself.

Nintendo really is getting in bed with Apple. You’ll need to put in your pin code to unlock your phone and you’ll need your Apple ID and password handy to reactivate iCloud. Additionally Live Photos can now be edited, and come with inbuilt stabilisation as well. Another iOS 10 feature introduced is the ability to place a widget on the lockscreen and homescreen.
