One final look at the Carson Wentz bomb to Nelson Agholor

“That’s what the football staff is going through now, to find out what plays – clearly I know we missed at least one in there”, Goodell said at FedEx Field before the Washington Redskins’ game Monday night against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Before the injury, Griffin struggled to consistently move the Browns’ offense down the field.

McCown’s first start of the season will come this Sunday in the Browns’ home opener at First Energy Stadium in Cleveland against the Baltimore Ravens.

But one game into his career, Wentz has already shown he has the skill set that could eventually make him one of the league’s better quarterbacks.

With the Pittsburgh Steelers’s victory last night, Cleveland is now trailing everybody else in the AFC North as the lone team in the division to fail to win their opening contest, which they dropped facing the quarterback drafted from the second-overall position that they traded away to the Eagles.

Jackson explained that Wentz wasn’t the “right fit” for the organization, per Michael David Smith of Pro Football Talk, and instead went into the year with Robert Griffin III as the starting quarterback.

“It’s really unfortunate because Robert worked extremely hard to put himself in a position to be our quarterback, to be one of the team leaders and it’s just very unfortunate”, Browns coach Hue Jackson said.

“I mean, we’ll see what happens”, Wentz said of the increased spotlight. “I think it was close to the end of the game when he broke out when I think it happened”.

So no, the Browns may not technically be entering a full tank mode to grab the No. 1 pick in the 2017 draft.

“I’ve never been to North Dakota so I got a feel for who he is”. As a result, Matthews played just 79 percent of the Eagles’ offensive snaps last season. “He was trying to do the right thing, there’s no question in my mind about that”.

“It was just man coverage across the board”, Wentz said.

In his eight starts in 2015, McCown had a 93.3 rating as he completed 63.7 percent of his passes, threw for 12 touchdowns and only tossed four interceptions. That’s how confident I am that, as McCown says, this is something nobody thinks they can do.

“So I’m looking forward to competing with these guys”.
