“He embarrassed Americans on a world stage and this is our form of protest against him”.

The LAPD has charged the two men for trespassing with a bail of $1,000 each. “We just accepted [them] and booked them”.
“It’s hard. I’m getting over it though”, Lochte said of the incident afterwards to E! “My heart just sunk”. “My heart just sank and it felt like someone ripped it apart”.
Then I saw Dave – one of our security guys who I’ve known for years – come in and tackle this guy.
Less than 24 hours after Ryan Lochte’s inaugural performance on ABC’s Dancing With The Stars was interrupted by protestors, the two men who ran onto the stage have spoken out about their intentions. Afterward, he told journalists he first thought the disturbance was a joke. “GMA” aired video that wasn’t shown during the live broadcast of one of the men being tackled on stage by a security staffer. “Love you all, Xoxo Cheryl.” she continued.
“Ryan really is such an awesome guy”, she tells People Magazine. “I can’t say that enough”, she wrote.
She paused, looking confused, then shouted, “Excuse me! I nearly feel like I’m a motherly figure to him right now”.
Cheryl Burke told People that the whole experience during Monday night’s episode was pretty insane.
Meanwhile, ABC is reviewing its security protocol after the breach that could have ended badly for Ryan Lochte and others present at the debut.
“Two individuals stormed the dance floor tonight and were immediately subdued and escorted out of the building”, a spokesperson for DWTS producer BBC Worldwide Productions, said in a CNN interview. “A full evaluation of security procedures/protocols is taking place, and we will make any changes deemed necessary”.
The 25-year-old said he and his relative, fellow protester, Sam Sotoodeh, 59, were in Rio during the Olympics and saw how Lochte’s actions led to the mistreatment of US visitors. It added that the way the suspect reacted “reeks of lawsuit”.

How does Lochte feel about what happened? The swimmer later apologized in a long Instagram post about the incident, although he also attributed some of the blame to a language barrier and being in a odd country.
