Trump Won’t Release Medical Records on ‘Dr. Oz Show’

The Donald Trump campaign has quietly starting backtracking on it’s plan for the Republican presidential candidate to appear on Dr. Oz’s television show to finally reveal his recent medical records.

Trump, a former reality TV star, is at home in a setting like “The Dr. Oz Show”.

The campaign plans to share the information from Bornstein on Thursday.

Without explicitly referring to his Dr. Oz appearance, Trump said he would release the results from his physical this week.

That exam was conducted by Dr. Harold Bornstein, the same doctor who wrote Trump’s only publicly released medical letter, which included phrases like Trump is “the healthiest individual ever elected to the presidency”. On Wednesday morning, the campaign told reporters that the records would be released “soon” but would not say when.

Trump talked with Oz about his physical activity, dietary habits, and broader health-related issues.

Multiple audience members told CNN that Trump said he does not exercise regularly. The audience applauds, and Trump hands Oz what he says are two letters regarding the physical.

“The GOP nominee, during an appearance on “The Dr. Oz Show”, taped Wednesday, revealed to the program’s checkered host that he was 236 pounds and 6’3″ tall.

Trump’s daughter Ivanka, who joined him on the campaign trail Tuesday, will also join him for part of the “Dr. Oz Show” taping.

Trump told Oz that he takes statins for cholesterol and eats fast food largely because restaurant chains offer consistency during his frequent travels, Politico reported.

Trump said “he does things for his campaign, and he golfs, but not as much as Obama”, Isabela, of Manhattan, said.

“I just hope she gets better and can get back out”, Trump said in an interview with Fox News’ Sean Hannity on Tuesday.

“He took it out of his jacket … and they went through it on the show”, Hosten told The News.

Kilmeade followed up: “Oh, it’s still going to be his decision?”

“It’s his decision”, Oz said. That year, the British Medical Journal published a study analyzing Oz’s claims and found that medical research either didn’t substantiate or contradicted more than half of Oz’s recommendations.

Doctors and medical experts, in particular, immediately questioned whether the daytime show was an appropriate venue for Trump to discuss his medical history.

The appearance is partly a pitch to female voters. Her doctor later said she was suffering from pneumonia.

Trump has repeatedly called out Clinton’s “stamina” in recent months, alluding to long-held questions in conservative media circles about Clinton’s health.

Hillary Clinton has stumbled – once figuratively and once literally – in the past week, opening the door for Trump to raise questions about her capacity to serve.
