Following the unveiling of the iPhone 7 last week, Apple released its newest mobile software update on Tuesday.

It was reported that the smartphones or iPads were shutting down to install the software after downloading the iOS 10 update.
Several social media platforms including Facebook and Twitter were flooded with messages and reports about the update making devices unusable. Apart from its major features, iOS 10 also incorporates minor tweaks which aim to make the operating system feel new and refreshed.
As the tech company announced the release date of iOS 10 during the event, the Cupertino based company also unveiled the sought after iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus and Apple Watch 2.
Though Apple stated that a further software update has helped fix these issues, there are still users reporting that their iPhone/iPad has been bricked after installing iOS 10. The problem was quickly resolved and we apologize to those customers.
You’ll have to connect your device to a computer and restart it by holding the sleep button and the home button for at least ten seconds. An error message appears, requesting users to plug their iOS device into a PC or a Mac and restore the device’s firmware through iTunes.
However, Apple says the glitch has been fixed and has provided its unlucky users with instructions to restore their “bricked” devices.
Here’s the full list of the apps that can now be removed: Podcasts, Maps, Compass, Tips, Calculator, Watch, Voice Memos, Contacts, Stocks, Weather, Calendar, Mail, Music, Reminders, Videos, FaceTime, Notes and the iTunes store.
