North Carolina residents have reported at least three instances of suspicious, creepy-looking clowns lurking in their neighbourhoods – making it the second state in as many weeks to experience such sightings. “It was just standing between two houses”, he tells a dispatcher.

“We are taking these reports very seriously, especially because of the allegations that they were trying to lure kids to the woods”, he added.

“In fact, most of the time when I perform as a clown I don’t wear any makeup”.

The Sheriff’s Office posted to Facebook, “Investigating these allegations has taken numerous man hours… baseless and false reports take away from the Sheriff’s Office resources and ability to work other criminal investigations”. If you are familiar with this group, it comes as no surprise that this would be their preferred solution whether it is dealing with reckless drivers or door-to-door salesmen.

Thanks to Pennywise from his 1986 horror novel “It”, played terrifyingly by Tim Curry in the 1990 mini-series, clowns are now something of a horror staple (see also Twisty from the anthology series “American Horror Story”). As previously stated, there have been no reports of criminal activity.

LAURINBURG -The summer saga of clown sightings may have reached Laurinburg. These sightings are similar to other incidents that seem to run in streaks resembling the “Killer Clown” sightings in Boston in 1981.

“That shows you how much that I have put into it and have enjoyed the career that I’ve had being Jojo the clown”, said Joseph. The suspect allegedly tried to lure the kids with treats and the suspect was reportedly seen by two children and heard, but not seen, by one adult.
