Mobile phone maker, Apple Inc, on Wednesday launched its 7th iteration of the iPhone, iPhone 7. First off, the iPhone 7 is now water and dust resistant and is said to be able to last up to 30 minutes under a meter of water.

In the case of the Jet Black iPhone 7, shipping times have moved into November for some models.
The new phones will start shipping in major markets, including the United States and China, on September 16.
RBC analyst Amit Daryanani said Apple margins could get a boost from the new iPhone, driven by sales of the more expensive iPhone 7 Plus model that has a comparatively richer feature set.
Cook also provided an update of Apple’s efforts to encourage more children in schools to learn how to code. While the iPhone 7 Plus gets a dual lens camera, the smaller model still gets an improved camera system. The Beats Solo3, Powerbeats 3, and BeatsX headphones are all powered by the same W1 chip that powers the AirPods, and this allows the new headphones to pair quickly and easily with the new iPhones. In India, the phones will be available from October 7 and the price starts at Rs 60,000 (32GB).
The new iPhones arrive on September 16th and will replace the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus as the company’s flagship options. “We expect iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus will be incredibly popular with customers and we are thrilled to begin taking pre-orders on September 9”.

Apple didn’t introduce any advancements in screen protection, so the glass screen on the iPhone 7 is still too fragile.
