A voice mail recording at the ITT campus at Lake Mary said the administrative offices were closed and the messages were full.

More than 130 ITT Technical Institute campuses will be closing in 38 states.
The sudden announcement is leaving an estimated 8,000 ITT Tech employees without jobs andand impacting more than 35,000 students who are now enrolled in classes at the institute. In a statement, the company blamed sanctions by the U.S. Department of Education freezing financial aid for students.
It wasn’t only the Education Department that punished ITT.
Almost 12,500 students used the GI Bill at ITT in 2015, according to data from the national advocacy group Student Veterans of America.
ITT announced Tuesday that it will not offer its September quarter and has eliminated most of the jobs for 8,000 of its employees.
Thousands of students at ITT Tech got stunning news this week that their college was closing immediately. He said ITT’s closing was abrupt – way more sudden than for-profit Corinthian College’s closing for the same reasons previous year.
“The Department of Veterans Affairs must now work closely with the Department of Education to ensure that ITT Tech’s student veterans have the resources and guidance they need to transfer and continue their studies at a high-quality institution of higher learning”.
“Here I am, stuck getting enrolled into another school again to further my education, finish my education because of what I went through the last time”, Nimmer said.
That’s because ITT and other for-profit schools depend on federal student aid for nearly all of their revenue.
About 200 ITT employees will help students obtain grade transcripts and apply to other schools, and the chain said it is seeking agreements with other schools that would help students transfer class credits.

ITT Tech employed an estimated 8,000 employees across the country. Education Department leaders are also urging community colleges to contact ITT Tech students and welcome qualified students.
