McDonald: McAdoo Makes Most Of His First Coaching Win

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant didn’t do a whole bunch in his team’s season-opening loss to the New York Giants.

Dallas Cowboys When you start two rookies in your backfield, we’d expect dumb mistakes.

The three-minute 13-second video starts during the fight and it’s hard to tell but there seem to be fights going between both women and men. Finally, the Giants got a win on Sunday that they would not have in 2015.

The Cowboys were also undone by a defense that gave up the go-ahead touchdown in the fourth quarter and then could not get a late stop in time for the offense to have a reasonable chance to get a winning score.

The Dallas Cowboys are on the verge of starting the season 0-2 and digging their own grave if they can not get a win on the road in Washington this weekend.

It’s been 365 days since the Dallas Cowboys won a game at their home venue, AT&T Stadium.

Of course, if Terrence Williams had been able to get out of bounds with 7 seconds left instead of letting the time run out, the Giants could have choked another one way. They obviously don’t want him to be less than 100 percent when he returns because that will increase the risk of reinjuring his back. Although the Giants only had 73 yards on 17 carries at that point, McAdoo leaned on the running game to kill the clock. So when it was over, and his Giants had escaped with a 20-19 win, forgive McAdoo if he wasn’t quite ready to exhale.

Oh, and ROTY Lock Ezekiell Elliot had a yawn-inducing 51 yards on 20 carries, despite playing behind The Greatest Offensive Line in the History of Organized Sports. But he gets paid like he does largely because he’s expected to come up with jump balls and win contested catches. Rookie quarterback Dak Prescott threw the ball 45 times and only five attempts went Bryant’s way.

“A lot of people think they’re bigger than the game or ‘That won’t happen to me, ‘” Morris said.

We know Dez Bryant is a warrior of the highest order and that he is always hungry for more, always wanting to win the game for his team and always plays the best to his abilities.

Dallas had to settle for field goals after wide receivers dropped two would-be touchdowns.

While McAdoo refused to say who would call the plays before the opener, it seemed clear it was him.

“I think I said “finish” previous year probably a thousand times”.

“We played him previous year, and I’m sure he knows that, and wants to get back at it”, Norman told Redskins reporters Wednesday. “To come out and finish a game is huge for us”, Pugh said to Kratch. “We’re all brothers and will continue to make plays”. “We had a couple of good ones, but there were a couple that were not where they need to be”.

Before Sunday’s contest, NFL Network National Insider Ian Rapoport reported that Prescott could take Romo’s job permanently.
