Usually it’s the hoards of street-style photographers blocking traffic during New York Fashion Week, but not so on Madison Avenue this season.

“Today, for the first time ever, I am proud to share with you my new women’s collection right off the runway and into your lives”.

This Fashion Week we’ve seen a handful of brands moving towards the “see now, buy now” model. This new fall collection will be in addition to that and will be housed in a separate area of the brand’s flagships worldwide.

“From the very beginning I’ve always designed with you in mind”, he said. “With the internet, social media. you have to change”. Ralph Lauren is considered a world-class retailer and has emphasized the shopping experience in a variety of ways throughout its five decades of business.

The new fall line will available immediately following the show at Lauren flagships in New York, Paris, London, Hong Kong, Tokyo and Beverly Hills, as well as major department store such as Bergdorf Goodman and Saks Fifth Avenue.
