Governor McAuliffe to campaign for Clinton and Kaine in Portsmouth

Local Republicans echoed the response by GOP Presidential nominee Donald Trump, wishing Clinton a speedy recovery.

Clinton and Trump have traveled all over the state with at least one of them visiting Daytona Beach, Jacksonville, Kissimmee, Tampa, St. Petersburg, Miami and Pensacola.

“His only experience we know of in higher education is Trump University and that does not bode well”, Holton said. Trump’s only recent retort came after a Kaine appearance on a recent morning TV news show. Meanwhile, some Donald Trump fans show little interest in racial harmony. Clinton’s campaign later revealed that she is suffering from pneumonia and is taking a few days off the campaign trail to rest. “I’ll tell you this: I’ve just been on the campaign since July 22”. Clinton’s health scare, complete with a widely-viewed video of her stumbling and being supported by aides after abruptly leaving a 9/11 memorial service in New York City, makes that fact more relevant to some — and a bit awkward.

“The presidential poll in IN has actually tightened up”.

If voters reject Trump’s call for a border wall and an end to immigration from certain countries, Kaine thinks the GOP could change their minds about immigration. “Hillary Clinton has been on the campaign trail for 18 months”, he said as the crowd roared with cheers and applause. Kaine is the state’s former governor and has a strong following among the state’s Democratic base.

Kaine, the Democratic vice presidential nominee, is expected to speak at Stivers School for the Arts and focus on how Clinton’s plan would eventually help families making less than $125,000 a year. Mrs. Clinton later apologized for using such a broad generalization of “half”, but she, and Mr. Kaine again today, defended the message behind her statement.

Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s campaign began airing two new ads in Spanish on Tuesday, highlighting her “commitment” to a “promising future for Latino and immigrant families” in the United States. But none of the attacks have been used with regularity or proved to have the same staying power as Trump’s nickname for Clinton, “Crooked Hillary”.

Virginia Sen. Kaine-whose son is a Marine now based at Camp Lejeune in Jacksonville-began his address with acknowledging challenges that servicemen and women face on the frontlines and at home.

“Not really”, he said.

“We want to be a nation of the positive virtues, not the dark emotions”, he said, adding he’s happy to be on a ticket with somebody who calls out bad behavior.

“I know the Virginia reality fairly well but the Ohio, Cincinnati reality… not so well”.

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is wishing Hillary Clinton well after the former secretary of state's health scare which was revealed when Clinton had to leave a Sept. 11th memorial service early on Sunday
