“We’re dealing with an attorney general who everyone in NY knows is a total lightweight”, Donald Trump said of Eric Schneiderman following the Trump University lawsuit filing.

The first is an investigation into the Trump Foundation’s $25,000 donation in 2013 to a campaign group associated with Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi.

Schneiderman cleared the face that his interest in the matter was really as being the regulator of non-profits in New York State. We never had a press conference.

Trump foundation is under investigation, according to an announcement made by New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman.

Schneiderman, a Democrat who supports Hillary Clinton, Trump’s opponent in the race for the White House, has said his actions are not politically motivated.

Yahoo News reported last week that the Trump charity donated $100,000 to a conservative group that was suing Schneiderman as he was probing Trump University.

Scripps also discovered CHAI did not report hundreds of millions of dollars in foreign government donations to the state. Trump Foundation officials said it was the result of clerical errors, but it was recently required to pay a $2,500 fine to the IRS nonetheless.

Bondi and Trump have denied any connection between the donation and her office’s decision not to pursue an investigation. If elected, Trump might have to testify as either president or president-elect, Schneiderman said.

“[Trump] calls it a broken system, honest people would call it a transaction between Pam Bondi and Donald Trump”, Rep. Lois Frankel (D-Fla.) said.

A New Yorker, Trump owns a Florida home as well as resorts and golf courses in the state. Trump aides earlier acknowledged the donation was a mistake.

ATTN: reached out to the Trump campaign for comment and will update this story when we get a response. Attendees were asked to give the $3,000 maximum individual donation allowed under state law.

The Post also found other irregularities, including that Trump spent $20,000 of money that had been set aside for charitable purposes to purchase a six-foot (1.8-meter) painting of himself.
