Trump says he is overweight, and Clinton discusses her pneumonia
Hillary Clinton released medical information today amid much jibber jabber about her health in light of her recent pneumonia diagnosis. Her campaign later revealed she was fighting pneumonia.

The results of the scan were a “mild non-contagious bacterial pneumonia” for which Bardack prescribed bed rest, fluids and rest. “The remainder of her complete physical exam was normal and she is in excellent mental condition”, she said.
Bardack said Clinton’s cholesterol and blood pressure are within normal ranges.
Mrs Clinton – who has been recuperating at her suburban NY home – was treated with an antibiotic called Levaquin, which she was prescribed for 10 days.
The health scare had forced the 68-year-old former secretary of state to cancel campaign and fundraising trips to California and has fuelled concerns about her medical fitness less than two months to go for the November 8 election. Her illness became public after she left Sunday’s 9/11 memorial service in NY early and was seen on video staggering while getting into a van.
A poll released Wednesday morning, and conducted before Mrs. Clinton made her doctor’s report public, suggested that the former first lady’s medical issues are reinforcing a public perception that she is untruthful, a common refrain in surveys about the candidate.
Meanwhile Mr. Trump, who has boasted of his own health during the campaign, shared results from a recent physical examination with Dr. Mehmet Oz during a taping of “The Dr. Oz Show” on Wednesday.
Clinton’s Republican rival Donald Trump will also reveal the results of his own recent medical exam during a TV show set to be aired on Thursday, said a daily report by The Hill, a top USA political website. But voters will have to wait another day for details: The show does not air until Thursday.
Last week, she tried to walk back comments accusing half of Mr. Trump’s supporters of being part of what she dubbed the “basket of deplorables”. Video footage taken by a bystander showed Clinton becoming dizzy as she attempted to get into a waiting vehicle.
Bardack’s letter also cast some new light on the persistent cough that Clinton complained of before she was found to have pneumonia.
“I just talked to her – she’s feeling great and I think she’ll be back out there tomorrow”, former USA president Bill Clinton said yesterday.
Clinton will return to campaign in Greensboro, North Carolina on Thursday, after taking three days off to recover from pneumonia. Dr. Brian Monahan, who oversees the Office of the Attending Physician in the U.S. Congress, said Kaine, as of his last physical last February, was in “overall excellent health”.
Clinton’s running-mate, U.S. Senator Tim Kaine, 58, also released a physician letter on Wednesday.
“It’s fair to say the public now knows more about Hillary Clinton than almost anyone in public life”, said campaign manager Robby Mook in a statement.
Trump’s campaign has said he will release additional medical information to the public in the coming days.

“His Doctor Oz charade is as completely unserious as his original joke of a letter written in five minutes. He continues to hide his taxes and business dealing behind fake excuses”.
