Double fatal shooting in Finchley this morning
Detectives have launched an investigation following the death of two people in East Finchley.

She added that Mrs Ekofo and her husband Jean Pierre had been living in the United Kingdom for around 25 years after moving from Congo in central Africa.
Mrs Ekofo leaves behind nine children.
“Officers attended and found two people – a man and a woman (no further details) – suffering gunshot injuries”.
Another distressed neighbour said: “They were a new family, they had only been here for about three months”.
Eye-witness Lizzy Holsgrove said: “Something absolutely nuts going down on my road”.
They were both found at a flat in Elmhurst Crescent at around 6.25am this morning, and pronounced dead at the scene.
She added: “Keep hearing more sirens heading this way”.
“Definitely seems like someone’s been shot. Everyone I’ve heard walking past is talking about it being a shooting”.

No arrests have been made, but enquiries continue with the help of the Homicide and Major Crime Command.
