Digimon World: Next Order has been spotted on the Brazilian rating board recently as a PlayStation 4 title, suggesting that the game might be coming to North America after all.
In Next Order, the player joins forces with Digimon to save the digital world from Machinedramons. Rescued by two Digimon from impending doom, players must forge forward with their Digimon partners and journey through the Digital World to discover the origins of the Machinedramon scourge and find a way back to the real world.
While the original Japanese version of the game for the PlayStation Vita had 50 sub-quests, Bandai Namco Entertainment and developer B.B. Studio are including about 120 sub-quests after feedback from players. The initial TV show followed the adventures of a group of youngsters who get sucked into the Digimon world electronically, while away from their parents at summer camp. Your main motive of the game is to bring peace to the Digital World, just like all the previous games of the series.
With most Digimon games, in order to succeed you must power up your digital friends through combat throughout the game.
The digital-only release of Digimon World: Next Order will feature “enriched and enhanced” graphics, the game’s producers said a pre-TGS event.
Currently, there has been no western release date announced for the game yet, but the Brazilian rating can be considered somewhat of a start.
