Powerball rises to $244 million
Once again, there were no grand-prize winners for the $222 million Powerball jackpot drawing held on Wednesday September 14, 2016.

Sites like The Lotter, Play USA Lotteries and Jackpot.com Lottery have now opened the Powerball and other major lotteries to a worldwide audience. Each entry to the Powerball costs $2 and the Power Play option costs an additional $1 per line.
The estimated jackpot is $224.9 million. Three players matched five numbers to win $1 million each. The tickets were purchased in Kansas and California. The lump sum option is worth $330.6 million.
With a Powerball jackpot of $222,000,000, You could win more than you ever believed possible.
The $487 million Powerball jackpot drawn last July 30 was claimed by an anonymous family from New Hampshire.
The winning numbers from the Powerball draw on Wednesday September 14th were 10, 11, 23, 28, 31 and the Powerball was 14.
Lottery officials announced Monday that the family is local to New Hampshire and wished to keep their identities a secret.
According to the outlet, the $100,000 will reportedly go to “End 68 Hours of Hunger”, a charitable group that operates food pantries in Raymond, Epping and Deerfield and the Raymond Coalition for Youth.
