Trump releases medical documents, says he's in great health

Her campaign first said she was just “overheated”; hours later, her doctor said that Clinton had been diagnosed with pneumonia two days earlier, information that hadn’t been disclosed at the time.

The Republican presidential nominee says that delivering his speeches is “a really healthy act”.

“The letter I read would be typical for a person running a company, and I think that’s pretty parallel – it’s not exactly the same, but pretty parallel to what you want to have, to judge if someone is going to be healthy enough to lead you”, Oz said on NBC’s “Today” show Thursday.

Despite his campaign saying that Trump would not reveal personal health information on Oz’s show, he pulled out a letter from his jacket in yet another campaign surprise.

Oz said that Trump’s doctor found him to be overweight and revealed he takes a statin medication, a drug often used to lower cholesterol, but was in good health overall. Meyers also said that due to double standards, the rules are different for Clinton and Donald Trump.

“I would say it should not be prescription”, he added.

Clinton released a letter from her doctor on Wednesday declaring her “fit to serve” as president.

Trump was interrupted and then heckled after he began to attack rival Hillary Clinton. The difference is significant because 267 pounds would make Trump obese, although he would fall well short of the 354 pounds of former president William Taft at his inauguration. “If they were bad, I would say let’s sort of skip this, right?”

Trump discussed the results of his physical ahead of the airing Wednesday of a taped interview with TV personality “Dr. Oz”. “I think that’s most of America, but otherwise he’s in incredibly good health”.

Asked about reports that he weighs more than 236, Trump joked: “ay-ay-yi, it’s bad enough”.

Clinton this week took several days off the campaign trail to recuperate from a bout with pneumonia, after she almost collapsed on Sunday at a memorial ceremony for the September 11, 2001, attacks.

A clip has been released from the interview and in it, Trump offers to reveal the results of a recent physical exam.

Trump has repeatedly questioned Clinton’s health, suggesting she lacks the “stamina” for the job.

In the “Dr. Oz” video, aside from admitting to taking a cholesterol-lowering medication for “a couple of years”, Trump swears he’s pretty much flawless.
