We know you’re excited about the new off-pink model, but the big talking point about the new XPS 13 is the Kaby Lake chips.
“At Dell, we’re constantly striving to provide the best viewing experience for all of our customers – no matter which line of products they choose”, said Ray Wah, senior vice president, Dell Consumer Product Marketing.
The new Rose Gold variant is available in two configurations.
Dell has refreshed its XPS 13 ultraportable laptop line, bringing in Intel’s latest 7th generation processor, a boost in battery, and a rose gold colour option that’s now in vogue in the gadget world. The other packs in a Core i7, 8GB of RAM, 256GB SSD, and 13.3-inch QHD+ screen with touch.
Dell’s InfinityEdge screen found on the XPS 13 comes in either full HD 1080p resolution or a Quad HD+ touch screen; with the former Dell reckons 22 hours of battery life is possible from the XPS 13 though that figure is reduced to 13 hours once the higher resolution display is specified.
The Delhi XPS 13 now comes with 1535 Wireless-AC technology, which according to company ensures a stronger and more reliable Wi-Fi connection. Dell can still rightfully describe it as the “world’s smallest 13in notebook” thanks to the 9.15mm frame and edge-less 13.3in display that the firm claims fits inside an 11in frame.
Over on the Inspiron side of things, Dell will release the Inspiron 15 5000, and the Inspiron 17 5000.
