Clinton’s doctor says she’s ‘fit to serve’
The letter was issued by Trump’s long-time personal physician Dr. Harold Bornstein, of Lennox Hill Hospital, who performed the candidate’s physical exam last week, NBC News has confirmed.

The Republican presidential nominee tapes the show Wednesday for airing on Thursday.
During his interview with Dr. Mehmet Oz on Wednesday, Donald Trump said he’s not anxious about his age slowing him down.
Earlier this year, Bornstein drew attention for writing that Trump would be the healthiest president in history. That information has not been provided to reporters by the campaign. But it began to leak out after the “Oz” taping.
Donald Trump says that women should be able to obtain birth control without a prescription.
Dr. Bardack said, “the remainder of her complete physical exam was normal and she is in excellent mental condition”. “The info will be released “shortly” but is not the focus of the Dr. Oz appearance”.
Trump discussed the results of his physical ahead of the airing Wednesday of a taped interview with TV personality “Dr. Oz”.
“I did that as planned when he sat down with me”. “We then discussed the need for transparency around both candidates medical records”. “So I’m not going to ask him questions he doesn’t want to have answered”. “But I think psychologic testing would be important for him”. “I don’t care, should I do it?”
“Yeah, sure”, Trump said, handing over papers he pulled from his jacket pocket. Even if under audit, there’s nothing legally prohibiting Trump from disclosing his records.
Trump said his health is good, though he’d like to lose 15 pounds.
“In summary, Mr. Trump is in excellent physical health”, Bornstein wrote. According to the source, Trump’s blood pressure is good, and that his cholesterol is good due to medication.
The Republican presidential nominee first shared the results with celebrity physician Dr. Mehmet Oz on Wednesday during the taping of The Dr. Oz Show that aired Thursday.
Trump’s daytime TV chat about health and wellness seemed like a savvy political stunt.
Those in the audience told NBC News after the interview that Dr. Oz gave Trump a clean bill of health. Donald Trump likes to fidget a bit.
Oz had yesterday promoted he would see the records, though Team Trump said this morning Oz would not. It’s all an effort to reach female voters, as women largely make up Oz’s viewership.
He was booked on the show more than a week ago, which means the plans pre-date Clinton’s recent health scare.
Hillary Clinton’s doctor says she is recovering from her pneumonia and remains “healthy and fit to serve as President of the United States”.
Trump has repeatedly called out Clinton’s “stamina” in recent months, alluding to long-held questions in conservative media circles about Clinton’s health.
